Product description

 

The IC695ALG616 is a 16/8 Channel, Non-Isolated, Differential, Voltage/Current, Analog Input module from the GE Fanuc RX3i Series. This module provides 16 single-ended or 8 differential input channels. This module must be located on an RX3i Universal Backplane. See specifications for this unit on IC695ALG616's website page.

 

The IC695ALG616 Module is an analog input module that is made in the RX3i PACSystems series by GE Fanuc Automation. This module is a specific type of module that is a non-isolated differential analog input current/voltage module that includes 16 single-ended or 8 differential input channels. Different power ranges can be configured with each of the input channels on this module, and these ranges are current and voltage ranges of 0 to 20 milliamps, 4 to 20 milliamps, and +/-20 milliamps of current and +/-10 Volts, 0 to 10 Volts, +/-5 Volts, 0 to 5 Volts, and 1 to 5 Volts DC of voltage. This module can be used with a box-style, an extended box-style, a spring-style, or an extended spring-style terminal block. The GE Fanuc Automation IC695ALG616 Analog Input Module is installed in the RX3i Universal Backplane.

Some of the features that come incorporated in the GE Fanuc Automation IC695ALG616 Analog Input Module are full auto-calibration, an on-board error checking feature, and an open-circuit detection feature for all the voltage inputs. The module also comes with a high alarm, a low alarm, a high-high alarm, and a low-low alarm along with a fault reporting feature that is selectable per channel. The GE Fanuc Automation IC695ALG616 Analog Input Module has positive and negative rate of change alarms and it goes through an auto-calibration at start-up. This module supports hot insertion and removal from the rack (insertion and removal under power.) This module operates with a voltage range of -10 to +10 Volts and an external power supply voltage range of 18 to 30 Volts DC.

HART Data Scan Time (in seconds)

The HART data scan can consist of up to four acquisition cycles (similar but asynchronous to the analog scan time). Each cycle includes a specific set of channels. Total HART scan time depends on the number of channels enabled for HART within a specific set of channels, number of retries,

enabling/disabling of slot variables, and use and configuration settings of pass-thru commands.

Channels in Group Enabled for HART: Each HART Data channel updates every:
One 0.7 second (typical)
Two 1.9 seconds (typical)
Three 3.0 seconds (typical)
Four 4.0 seconds (typical)

Calibrated Accuracy In the presence of severe RF interference

(IC 801-3, 10V/M),

accuracy may be degraded by ±1.5% of range.

From 13°C – 33°C:

±5V, ±10V, ± 20 mA: 0.05% of range.

0 to 10V, 0 to 5V, 1 to 5V, 0 to 20 mA: 0.1% of range.

4 to 20 mA: 0.125% of range.

From 0°C – 60°C:

0 to 10V, 0 to 5V, 1 to 5V: 0.2% of range.
