The HE693PBM101 Profibus Master Module from GE Fanuc acts as a Profibus DP network master for Series 90-30 products. Part number HE693PBM101 has three (3) LEDs, or light emitting diodes, that are visible to users. These include the OK, POWER, and RUN LEDs. The user can observe 6 possible combinations of these LEDs. Each combination will represent the different states of the master. For instance, when all LEDs are green, it indicates that the module is receiving good power and valid configuration from the CPU. Moreover, the module is also communicating properly over the Profibus-DP network. To determine the fault condition of the module, count the green pulses of the RUN LED in each cycle. This module transmits 64 bits of diagnosis and 64 bits of status information to the PLC processor. It requires 4 watts of power at 5 volts direct current.
