Effective Vector Control Option Required
The displayed protection functions can vary depending on the option(s) installed. To ensure proper function, the option to support vector control must be installed.

Torque Limitation Level
Please note that for models 3 FR-A820-5.5 K (00340) or larger and FR-A840-5.5 K (00170) or larger, the default value is limited to 150% due to torque limitations.
Standard Structure and IP55 Compatible Models
Protection functions are effective only on standard structure models and IP55 compatible models. Please refer to the product specifications to determine compatibility.
Protection Function Limitations
Please be aware that certain protection functions may not work from the initial state or may only work on specific models. For example, function 6 works only on standard structure models, while function 7 works only on IP55 compatible models.
Temperature Limitations
While it may be safe to expose the unit to temperatures outside of the specified range for short periods, such as during shipping, please adhere to the specified limits when in use.
Altitude Limitations
If installing the unit at an altitude exceeding 1,000 m (up to 2,500 m), please note that the rated current must be reduced by 3% every 500 m.
Vibration Limitations
Please note that vibrations greater than 2.9 m/s2 are not recommended for FR-A840-160 K (04320) or larger models.
FR-A800-E Function Limitations
Function 11 works only on the FR-A800-E model.
