IC670TBM001 Auxiliary Terminal Block is a barrier-style field control terminal block manufactured by GE Fanuc

The Field Control IC670TBM001 Auxiliary Terminal Block is an auxiliary terminal strip made by GE Fanuc. It provides extra wiring terminals for analog and high-density discrete I/O modules. It also offers extra ground, returns, or common connectiosn. It comes with 9 barrier-type terminals. Each terminal can accept 1 or 2 AWG #14 gauge wires which have 2.1 square millimeters of cross sections. During field wiring, it also can be used to provide additional terminals for the shield. The tie point connections of the IC670TBM001 Auxiliary Terminal Block offer enough locations to terminate both wires of the discrete I/O devices at the control panel easily.

The IC670TBM001 Auxiliary Terminal Block can be connected to a properly installed DIN rail. During installation, make sure to mount the I/O terminal block before inserting the auxiliary terminal block to the DIN rail. The location for the auxiliary terminal block mounting ears can be found at the right side of the DIN rail. The chassis ground of any module can be connected to the ground terminal of an auxiliary terminal block during the field wiring process. For a 3-wire or 4-wire transmitter, it is necessary to use an additional terminal strip with the IC670TBM001 Auxiliary Terminal Block. The terminals of the module are electrically connected together from the inside. This optional terminal strip is the best solution for a field control system if extra common terminals are needed for effective field wiring. It can be connected as an additional device to the side of an I/O terminal block in a field control station.
