The IS200BICLH1AFE is a Bridge Interface Controller Board. It is part of the GE Industrial Systems’ Mark VI Speedtronic line. The Mark VI was designed to offer triple modular redundant control to industrial gas and steam turbines.

The IS200BICLH1AFE is used to interconnect the Innovation Series main control board and a BPIA bridge personality interface board. It also is responsible for ambient temperature monitoring, speed control interface, and fan control. The control logic on the IS200BICLH1AFE comes from the CPU of the main control board.

The IS200BICLH1AFE plugs into a VME rack using its P1 and P2 connectors. The front panel of the board is blank, barring two clips that help lock the board into place and a notation stating the user should “install in slot 5 only.”

The IS200BICLH1AFE is designed with the aforementioned backplane connectors (P1 and P2) as well as four relays, over 18 resistors, 30 capacitors, and a dozen integrated circuits. It also has several transistors. The board surface is marked with the board identification number, a barcode, and several other codes. Most components are marked for easy identification.
