The Mark I and Mark II were made by General Electric, or GE. These were the earliest two systems to be produced for the Speedtronic Mark series. The very first Mark I unit was installed in Long Island, New York in 1968. Since then, the Mark series has been responsible for the control of gas turbines around the world. The Mark series works to maintain and automate the operations of gas turbines safely and efficiently. About 50 printed circuit board are contained in each Mark I panel. The IC3600SCBB1 is just one of these printed circuit boards (PCBs).
 
 
Many small metal parts are featured on the IC3600SCBB1. There is a long series of metal prongs aligned on the right edge of the IC3600SCBB1. These metal prongs were designed to attach the IC3600SCBB1 PCB to the other parts in the Mark system. Forty small metal parts are arranged in rows on the IC3600SCBB1. These metal parts are shaped like cubes. They help to wire the IC3600SCBB1 board into the Mark system. Seven short wires which are white in color attach pairs of these metal cubes together. One red wire can also be seen at the upper edge of the IC3600SCBB1. This wire also links two parts together. A small red diode can be found on the IC3600SCBB1. The diode is placed on a wire which connects two metal parts together. The IC3600SCBB1 has a series of letters written on its surface from A through Y. These letters are written in yellow. A series of numbers can also be seen on the IC3600SCBB1. These numbers and letters enable the components on the circuit board to be identified.
