Product Description
The DS3800NPDA was made by General Electric (GE). This device is a type of printed circuit board (PCB). The DS3800NPDA was developed to be just one part of the Mark IV (MKIV) turbine management system. Mark IV is one in a series of Mark turbine management systems. The Mark systems were designed to monitor and control the operations of gas and steam turbines. The Mark systems are also responsible for ensuring that the turbine system is safe from potentially harmful operating conditions. The technologies that the Mark IV system is based on have been developed and improved for several decades. The DS3800NPDA is a small circuit board known as a daughter card. Daughter cards are small boards which can be attached to other circuit boards. Doing this expands the functions of the circuit board for the user.
The DS3800NPDA features eight (8) large resistors. The resistors are positioned vertically on the DS3800NPDA. They are attached to the surface of the circuit board with grey wires. These resistors are brown in color and they are banded in a series of various colored bands. These bands are blue, grey, black, yellow, orange, and gold in color. The resistors are sitting upright on the surface of the DS3800NPDA board. Two (2) capacitors are also featured on the DS3800NPDA. One of these capacitors is large and the other is small. These capacitors are also sitting upright on the surface of the DS3800NPDA. They are attached to the circuit board with thin metal wires. At least eight (8) large jumpers can be found on the DS3800NPDA. These jumpers are gold in color.
