The CPU 3152 has been designed for use in installations which have distributed automation structure. In addition to a centralized IO It can be used as a PROFINET IO Controller and as a standard PROFIBUS DP master in the SIMATIC S7300. The 3152 PNDP CPU can also be used as distributed intelligence DP slave.
